Potassium Lactate

Potassium lactate is the potassium salt of lactic acid, a naturally occurring organic acid. It is a colourless to slightly yellow liquid with a mild salty taste and it is highly soluble in water. Potassium lactate is widely used as a humectant, pH regulator, and preservative in various industries, including food, pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications.

      • Electrolyte Replacement Therapy: Used in intravenous (IV) fluids to correct electrolyte imbalances, particularly in cases of potassium deficiency (hypokalaemia).
