Gluconic Acid

Gluconic acid is a mild organic acid derived from the oxidation of glucose. It naturally occurs in fruits, honey, and wine. It is non-toxic, biodegradable, and water-soluble, making it suitable for various industrial, pharmaceutical, and food applications. The acid forms gluconates (salts of gluconic acid) when combined with metal ions.
