It has molybdenum lactate (C3H5MoO3) and molybdenum gluconate (C18H33MoO21). Molybdenum is involved in cellular energy production by breaking down sulfur-containing amino acids. It protects cell activating antioxidants and removes toxins. Low levels of molybdenum are reported in developing renal lithiasis in lambs and loss of feathers, impaired ossification of long bones in chicks.
